Recipe of the month - Nutella Iced Coffee
Time for a nice iced coffee, with a twist of chocolate!
Now that spring has most definitely sprung and summer is on the horizon, we thought it would be the right time to have an iced coffee recipe!
And this is a personal favourite! Make it, enjoy it and then be sure to let us know what you think to it over on our Facebook page
1 cup of milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ teaspoon of instant coffee
4 teaspoons of Nutella
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 cup of ice, same cup used to measure the milk
For topping, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and cocoa powder. Addition of a glace cherry or sprinkles optional
Add the coffee to the milk and mix well to create a cold coffee. It is normal for not all of the coffee granules to dissolve in the cold milk, but most will.
Transfer the cold coffee mixture to a blender and add the vanilla extract, Nutella, sugar and ice and blend well until smooth.
Meanwhile, swirl a little chocolate syrup around the inside of the glass you are going to serve the iced coffee in.
Add the iced coffee mixture
Top with whipped cream and any toppings.
